All the three Goa Forward ministers - TCP Minister Vijai Sardesai, RDA  Minister Jayesh Salgaocar and WRD Minister Vinod Palienkar - will support  the mining dependent people at the proposed rally scheduled at Jantar  Mantar, New Delhi, on December 11.

The TCP Minister, however, put to rest speculations that the three Goa Forward ministers have any meeting  with the BJP leadership, including BJP national president Amit Shah  during their stay in the national capital.

“All the three ministers  belonging to the Goa Forward party will attend the protest planned by  the mining dependents at the Jantar Mantar in Delhi. When the mining  dependents had called on us last week, I had promised that all the three  Goa Forward party ministers will descend at the Jantar Mantar and  support their cause. We will honour our word given to the mining  dependents,” he added.

When his attention was drawn to the fact that  December 11 also happens the day when counting of votes of the five  states will be taken up by the Election Commission, Sardesai shot back,  “I hope the day will also bring cheers and good luck for the mining  dependents from Goa’.
