In the second round of personnel shuffle in the run up to the Assembly polls, Goa Police on Friday issued transfer orders signed by Deputy Inspector General Vinal Anand Gupta to four deputy Superintendents of Police, right police inspectors, 33 sub-inspectors, seven head constables and 20 police constables.
DySP Sucheta Desai has been transferred from the post of Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Vasco to DySP, Police Headquarters. DySP, PHQ Lawrence D'Souza has been given the charge as SDPO, Vasco.
Postings have also been exchanged between DySP (SDPO, Panaji) Serafin Dias and DySP (SDPO, Porvorim) Nelson Albuquerque.
PI Tushar Vernekar, who was recently given the charge of Maina-Curtorim police station, has been transferred yet again to replace PI Roy Pereira at Traffic Cell, Mapusa. PI Pereira has been transferred to Traffic Cell, Vasco replacing PI Sudesh Narvekar. PI Narvekar has been given the charge if Traffic, Bicholim. PI Gurudas Gawade of Panaji Coastal police station has been transferred to Maina Curtorim Police Station.
Reader, SP (North) PI Milind Bhuimber has been transferred as Reader to Director General of Police. PI Shivram Vaigankar of Economic Offence Cell has been transferred to Curchorem police station. PI Ravindra Desai of Curchorem police station has been given the charge of Traffic Cell, Curchorem. PI Ashish Shirodkar of GRP A Coy has been transferred to EOC, Panaji.
