A Goa-headquartered IT company Kilowott has won recognition in far-away Norway, mopping up awards from the global rebranding and brand development magazine - Transform.
The company picked two awards -- a silver in best naming and brand strategy, and a bronze for best use of digital property.
The magazine through these awards recognized brand development and rebranding efforts in the Nordic region which covers Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Iceland.
The work for which Kilowott won the awards involved collaboration with a Norwegian design firm and was evaluated by the jury for excellence in strategy, execution, content and design.
The winning project involved the creation of a website for a film production company based in Norway.
According to Arati Raikar, who heads the delivery team at Kilowott, teamwork played a key role in delivering the product which won the firm recognition.
Arati also identified the quality of communication as another key ingredient.
“Cohesive communication coupled with our extensive experience in the industry enabled us to accomplish this feat. Indeed, communication is key” Arati said.
Nitish Raikar, who is CEO at Kilowott, said the quest for excellence is all about providing the best solution to customers, which has precisely been delivered by them.
He said, the award is a morale booster to the team at Kilowott and exuded confidence in the firm's presence in Europe growing.
