Young Hriya Patil from Goa has been crowned the Dazzle Miss India International at the annual pageant held in Delhi recently.
With a childhood dream to make big in the world of glamour, the youngster from Gogol-Margao told the media on Tuesday that she is now bracing up for the Miss Femina India contest to make to the Miss World Pageant.
Flanked by her parents, a beaming Hriya told the media that she made the state proud by winning the Dazzle Miss India International pageant. “I am extremely happy that I could make Goa proud at a prestigious stage at the national level,” she said.
Commenting on the incidence of breast cancer amongst women in the country, Hriya said woman, who live for others, should take time every month to undergo a medical check. “I feel that women, including housewives should mark a day to go to the hospital and undergo a body check up. You never know what disease can come to you with diseases now a common phenomenon due to various factors,” she said.
On her future plans, Hriya said that she was passionate about acting and dancing since her childhood days, adding, “I would like to become an actress at the national level. My main dream is to make a career in Bollywood”.
Saying that her parents have been a great source of inspiration, Hriya said her father Datta and Payal Patil have been her pillars of strength throughout her career.
