Rajendra Talak will head the governing body as its chairperson, while Chief Executive Officer of ESG is the member secretary. The official members include chief secretary, finance secretary, secretary of information and publicity, director of art and culture and director of information and publicity. The non-official members are Sushant Khedekar, Sharmad Raiturkar, Shiva Baba Naik and Shantaram Kundaikar.
Well-known personalities including John D’Silva, Sachin Chatte, Girish Sardessai, Pravin Zantye, Raju Nayak and Xavier Marcus also find place in the governing body as special invitees. The tenure of the governing body will be valid for three years.
The general body will be headed by Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar as chairperson, while Rajendra Talak is the vice chairperson and Chief Executive Officer of ESG is the member secretary.
Twelve representatives from government departments in this body include chief secretary, finance secretary, secretary of information and publicity, director of art and culture, director of information and publicity, corporator of CCP Vaidehi Naik, chairman of the Kadamba Transport Corporation Ltd, chairman of the Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC), Mayem MLA Pravin Zantye, Bicholim MLA Rajesh Patnekar and two nominees of the central government (yet to be announced).
