Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Saturday said the Goa government has complied with the SOP issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, asserting that no separate SOP was issued by the MHA for December 31.
The Chief Minister made the observation after the media pointed out to reports that the Goa government had defied the MHA SOP for the year-end. “I want to make it clear there’s no question of defying the SOP issued by the MHA. The SOP issued by the MHA has been complied with by the state government. There was no separate SOP issued by the MHA for December 31,” he added.
