Ahead of the global summit planned in December, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant met with a business delegation from Dubai, looking to attract investments here.
Sawant met with businesspersons and investors linked to the ‘ICONS of Dubai’ and invited them to partake in the ‘Amazing Goa Global Business Summit’ slated to be hosted in the State from December 8.
In the discussions, Sawant dwelt on the State government’s policies and incentives for fresh investments in Goa including the measures taken to up the ‘ease of doing business’ quotient of the State.
“Goa is rapidly emerging as a prime destination for domestic and international investors, with sectors such as tourism, food and beverage service, technology, manufacturing, skill development, healthcare, and sustainability offering great potential,” Sawant told the Dubai business delegation according to a statement issued by the global summit organsiers.
The summit is an initiative of the State government to improve Goa’s investment climate and attract more businesses to set up shop here aimed at creating jobs.
