E-portal launched; 11 services on offer, more in the offing

With this integrated e-district portal in place, citizens will not have to visit government offices, and instead apply online from anywhere and anytime to avail of government services. Nonetheless, the government has also waived off the nominal charges to avail of these services online.
Presently, there are 11 services which can be availed of which include: obtaining of Residence Certificate, Divergence Certificate, Domicile Certificate, Partition of Land, Caste Certificate, Income Certificate, Sound Permission, Form I & XIV, Matriz Certificate, Conversion of Land and Natural Calamity Application.
Addressing the gathering after launching the portal in the presence of Revenue Minister Rohan Khaunte, Parrikar said, “We are working on a roadmap to include more departments and other services that will be provided on this portal. Once the newly introduced services on the portal stabilise operations, we plan to link it with the Right to Service Act. It will
n Citizen logs in and applies for a service by filling in the online application form and attaching the requisite documents
n Acknowledgement SMS/e-mail is sent to citizen and application is submitted online to the department (eRevenue/DC-Suite)
n The application is processed in department application (eRevenue/DC-Suite)
n The talathi submits the report online
n Mamlatdar/Dy Collector approves or rejects the application and e-signs the approved certificates
n The approved certificate is pushed to the citizen’s inbox in goaonline.gov.in (Additionally, the certificate is pushed to the DigiLocker of the citizen)
n Citizen downloads the e-signed certificate from goaonline.gov.in or DigiLocker
