The Goa State Industries Association (GSIA) led by its President Damodar Kochkar and other members met delegates from the embassy of the Russian Federation, to explore emerging potentials to export to the Russian market.
“As Russia’s trade with the West dries up, it has been seeking products from India. GSIA impressed Russian delegates with goods manufactured in Goa like pharmaceutical, liquor, light engineering, processed food and various other sectors,” stated a GSIA press note.
Understanding the potential, GSIA has shortly scheduled next round of meeting with higher authorities in the embassy to establish a road map towards buyer-seller trust and facilitate beginnings of a working relationship.”
