GSSC releases final list of 1st CBT test for 187 PSI posts

The Goa Staff Selection Commission has announced the final results of the first computer-based test (CBT) for the recruitment of 187 Police Sub-Inspectors. The final list was declared after examining grievances raised by some against the provisional results. A total of 2,851 candidates had appeared for the first CBT held on August 10.

In the next stage, shortlisted candidates will undergo a physical ability test. On completion of this test, the eligibility list for the second CBT will be published. 

Of the 187 posts, 30 are reserved for women. Among the 157 posts for men, 80 fall under the general category, while the rest are reserved for candidates from the Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes. Of the 30 posts for women, 14 are for the general category, with the remaining reserved.
