A day after visiting retail stores to ensure GST 2.0 is passed on to consumers, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Tuesday chaired a meeting with stakeholders as well as representatives of industry and trade associations, explaining the move.
The meeting attended by representatives of the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Travel and Tourism Association of Goa, Goa State Industries Association, Confederation of Indian Industry, Goa Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association, Verna Industries Association and the Solar Association; Sawant said the reforms were a significant step towards ease of doing business, reducing compliance burdens and creating growth opportunities for trade, industry and services in the State.
