BICHOLIM: A house collapsed at Tar Matha in Pali-Bicholim while the Lamgaon Primary School and at least five other houses were damaged following rains in various parts of Bicholim taluka on Thursday.
A house was damaged when a tree came crashing down along the Mulgaon-Tambada road.
A tree also fell and damaged a portion of the Lamgaon Primary School. Four other houses were damaged in various incidents across the taluka.
Incidents of trees falling were also reported in Chorao, disrupting traffic along the routes.
The Bicholim Emergency Control Room has been assessing the damages to property.
