The Indira Gandhi Open University (IGNOU) will hold its 35th Convocation on Tuesday (April 26) at its headquarters in Delhi and simultaneously the Panaji Regional Centre of the open University will also conduct the regional convocation.
In Goa, the regional convocation will be held at the Art and Culture Auditorium at the Central Library, according to Senior Regional Director, Kameshwari Murthy.
Union HRD Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will be the chief guest for the main convocation in Delhi but in Goa, Jose Noronha, the chairman of the Goa Public Service Commission (GPSC) will do the honours.
Noronha will deliver the regional convocation address and confer degrees to graduating students, Murthy said.
