The induction programme for the newly admitted students for the 2021-23 MBA batch of the Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM) was held at the institute campus at Belagavi.
The new students were briefed about the academic curriculum, support services, co-curricular activities enabling them to grow intellectually and socially.
Managing Director of Belgaum Ferrocast India Sachin Sabnis, Belagavi MP and Chairperson of AITM Mangala Suresh Angadi were among the guests of honour.
Director of MBA department Prof Suryakumar Khanai, in his welcome address said industries are presently living in Volatility, Uncertainty Complexity and Ambiguity (VUCA) environment. “It is in this environment the MBAs play an important role,” Prof Khanai said.
Prof. Sachin Sabnis emphasised the need to inculcate discipline, attendance and positive attitude.
“Begin your day with sparkle, ignite your mindset and explore new opportunities and focus on pragmatic study to understand the corporate world better,” he said.
Principal Dr Anand Deshpande urged students to focus on innovation along with their routine academic activities.
“Use electronic gadgets only when needed rather than becoming their slaves and do not forget your parents,” Dr Deshpande said.
Administrator Raju Joshi, department HoDs, section heads and faculty members were present during the function. Prof Prabhu, Prof Vishakha and Prof Sheetal had made elaborate arrangements and coordinated during the function.
