Vasco Police have registered an offence after a man allegedly entered the restricted defence area of INS Hansa, Dabolim, without lawful authority or permission. According to the complaint filed by Lieutenant Commander Parth of INS Hansa, accused Papu Shil, a resident of Tripura, entered the prohibited area around 7.30 pm on August 21 with an alleged intention to commit an offence.
Vasco Police registered the case under Section 329(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Further investigation is being conducted by PSI Plato Carvalho of Vasco Police Station under the supervision of PI Vaibhav Naik and guidance of Mormugao DySP Gurudas Kadam.
