Sleuths of the Income Tax Department on early Wednesday conducted raids at two locations in Sonsodo and Gogol Housing Board.
Notably, the raid at the Gogol Housing Board was conducted at a bungalow of a former Margao civic body councillor, while the raid at Sonsodo was conducted at the home of a businessman dealing with real estate.
The duo are involved in the real estate business and are considered to be close to a prominent MLA, according to sources.
