The 50th edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) is all set to have its closing ceremony on Thursday at the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee stadium at Bambolim.
Minister for Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar is likely to be in attendance, according to passes issued to delegates for the closing ceremony.
Winner of the awards in the different competitive film categories, as well as the Silver Peacock awards, are set to be announced at the closing ceremony. Winner of the “Golden Peacock” award for the feature film will also be announced.
Meanwhile, five screenings of the Closing Film “Marghe and her Mother” are slotted in all four Inox Panaji screens and the Kala Academy.
The 50th IFFI commenced on November 20.
