Jharkhand labourer dies during construction work at Mopa airport

A labourer from Jharkhand was killed when a portion of a wall and an iron pipe came crashing down on him during construction activity around the Manohar International Airport at Mopa on Wednesday.

According to reports, Nawal Chaudhary was working for a private company involved in the construction of a protection wall around the Mopa airport, when a portion of the wall and an iron pipe came crashing down on him.

He was grievously injured and died while being taken to a private hospital in Mapusa for treatment. Mopa police registered a case of unnatural death.
