Jobs-for-cash: Plaint against Dipashree for duping 45 more

A complaint has been filed at the Mardol police station against jobs-for-cash mastermind Dipashree Sawant Gawas by a Marcel-based resident, Sandeep Parab, alleging that he and 44 others were cheated of Rs 3.88 crore on the promise of government jobs. 

According to Parab's advocate, Dipashree had returned Rs 25 lakh to the victims after consistent follow-up. Parab claimed that he had given the money to Dipashree to secure a job for his daughter. Dipashree has been arrested by the police in connection with the scam. 

Meanwhile, Bicholim police have also registered another jobs-for-cash case against another mastermind Priya Yadav who is presently in their custody.
