Jugalbandi in city, Sakhali
PANAJI: Kala Academy will host two shows of Kathak Lavani Jugalbandi and Ek Tamasha Sundarsa performance by artists of Lokrang Sanskritik Manch, Mumbai, daily at 7 pm on April 29 and 30, at Panaji and Sakhali respectively. The show at Panaji will be at the Dinanath Mangeshkar Kala Mandir, coinciding with World Dance Day and the show at Sakhali will be at the Ravindra Bhavan, Sakhali. Both the shows are open to folk artists, folk researchers dance and art lovers.
Sukhada Khandge Khaire will present Kathak and Pramila Lodgekar Suryawanshi will present Lavani in the Jugalbandi programme. Ek Tamasha Sundarsa will be presented by Prof Dr Ganesh Chandanshive, Head of the Performing Folk Arts department of University of Mumbai and his troupe.
