CANACONA
Canacona police arrested a native of Karwar, Karnataka, on charges of stealing a motorcycle from Mashem-Loliem in Canacona. According to Canacona police, one Nilesh Prabhudessai of Canacona has complained that some unknown accused had stolen his motorcycle, which was parked in an open space at Mashem-Loliem in Canacona.
Police registered the offence under Section 303(2) of BNS 2023 and, during investigation, rounded up one Sampad Ronad of Karwar and, after interrogation, arrested the accused for the motorcycle theft. The accused was later produced before JMFC, Canacona, who remanded the accused to five days in police custody.
