A house was destroyed in a fire at Ambegaon in Pali-Bicholim on Tuesday morning. Initial investigations suggest that the fire was caused by a short circuit. The entire roof and household items in the house of Mahadev Dalvi were destroyed. A fire brigade led by fire officer Rahul Desai along with locals managed to extinguish the fire. The fire station has estimated the property loss at Rs 3 lakh. Pali Sarpanch Santosh Naik, the local panch and Talathi later conducted a panchnama of the incident.
