As the ACB again failed to properly present its case to the court, the hearing on bail application of MLA and Opposition Leader Babu Kavlekar and his brother Babal Kavlekar has been postponed. The prosecution had previously failed to present its arguments as the investigating officer in the case was not present. Prosecution was unable to argue for the second time on Wednesday for lack of relevant documents. According to information, prosecution was unsuccessful in obtaining the documents as there is no proper co-ordination between ACB and Goa Police. The next hearing of the case has been scheduled for 6 October.
