PANAJI: The Kala Academy's prize distribution function of the ongoing 40th Konkani drama competition will be held on March 21, at 6 pm, at the Dinanath Mangeshkar Kala Mandir, Panaji, states a press note.
Dr Aziz Hajini, Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir, Academy of Art, Culture & Languages, will be the Chief Guest and Vishnu Surya Wagh, chairman of Kala Academy, will preside over the function.
The prize distribution function will be followed by Konkani play “Vakshak” to be presented by Rudreshwar, Panaji.
The prize distribution of One Act Play competition at High School and Higher Secondary/ College Level, will also be held on the occasion.
Kala Academy has appealed to the prize winners of One Act Play competition and all the participants of Konkani drama competition and general public to attend the function, adds the press note.
