Konkani film Claudia will be screened at the World Premiere at the upcoming IFFI festival on November 27 at INOX at 9.15 am.
Announcing this at a media briefing, Director Rajendra Talak has said this is the first time that a film produced by him will be screened at the World Premiere at the IFFI festival.
“My earlier films had featured at the IFFI Indian Premiere and Panorama. This is for the first time my film Claudia will be screened at the IFFI World Premiere. This is a big news for me as well as for the people of Goa”, he added.
Making an appeal to the people of Goa to come and watch Claudia at the INOX on November 27, Talak, however, said people should wait for the release of the film on December 19 in Goa.
“Since the seating capacity at INOX is around 275, I feel that people should not return home disappointed if they come to watch the film at the IFFI World Premiere. Hence, they should wait for the release of the film in Goa on December 19”, he added.
Talak thanked Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Entertainment Society of Goa vice-Chairperson Delilah Lobo for sanctioning pending payment of film producers.
“The government has cleared the pending payments of the film producers from 2017 to 2022. This is a good news for the film producing fraternity”, he added.
