Krishi Melava conducted at Collem
PONDA: Sanvordem MLA Ganesh Gaonkar on Tuesday said he was committed to resolve all issues confronting farmers and help them achieve progress.
He was speaking after inaugurating the Krishi Melava at Collem. Collem-Shigao Sarpanch Kiram Mamlekar, director of Agriculture Ulhas Kakodkar, Tulshidas Desai of Farmers Club, Naresh Shigaonkar, Vasudev Desai, agriculture officer Satyawan Desai and others were present.
The melava was organised by the Directorate of Agriculture in association with the Directorate of Tribal Welfare and zonal agriculture office.
Speaking further, Gaonkar said everyone will have to support his endeavour. “Without your support it is not possible,” he added.
Gaonkar said, “I am committed to resolve any issues in the field of agriculture, but your support is also important for that,” he said.
Ulhas Kakodkar said the department will heed to the problems faced by farmers and will try to resolve them.
