7th pay commission will be implemented for employees of the Kadamba Transport Corporation from October, Chief minister Manohar Parrikar said on Saturday. He also suggested a trip to Europe for the Board of Directors of the KTC so that ideas similar to that of Europe could be implemented to maximise KTC revenue. The Chief Minister was speaking at the 37th anniversary celebrations of KTC. The Corporation presently has 2016 employees and implementing 7th Pay Commission will place an additional liability of around R

s 1.5 crore per month on the state exchequer.
