PANAJI: The Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited (KTCL) has announced an increase in the discount offered on Smart Transit Card transactions from the existing 10% to 20%, with effect from November 1.
In a further incentive for regular commuters, KTCL has introduced a loyalty bonus under which Smart Transit Card holders who complete 250 days of travel within a year will become eligible for an enhanced discount of 30% on card usage upon completion of the year.
To encourage more passengers to enrol for the Smart Transit Card facility, KTCL will organise seven-day enrolment and card sale camps at major bus stands across Goa from November 2. The camps will be held at Panaji, Mapusa, Sakhali, Margao and Ponda, where KTCL officials will assist commuters with applications and card issuance.
