Leave old ideologies behind, follow party discipline: BJP chief

State President of the BJP Damu Naik on Friday said those who have joined the party should leave behind their previous ideologies and conform to the party discipline and ideology.

He further said that party leaders who have made allegations of the involvement of certain members into drugs should approach the appropriate authorities with complaints or call on the Chief Minister Pramod Sawant with evidence and details.

Speaking to the media on the sidelines of a programme at the Ravindra Bhavan, Margao on Friday, the BJP State president said the issue over the allegations traded by party leaders have been resolved after giving the leaders a hearing.

He, however, said party leaders or members who have any grievances against anyone in the party should make the complaints within the party forum and not air their issues via the media. Damu reminded party leaders who have joined the party from other parties that they should leave behind their previous ideologies and stick to the ideology and discipline of the BJP party.
