Lorry driver hurt in Canacona mishap

A driver sustained minor injuries when an inter-state lorry proceeding towards Karwar fell on its side at Gulem-Canacona on Tuesday night.

According to sources, the driver lost control of the vehicle while slamming the brakes on noticing stray cattle on the road on Tuesday night.

The driver received first aid at the Canacona Community Health Centre, Chaudi, while the lorry was later removed with the help of a crane on Wednesday.
