MARGAO:
The Maina Curtorim police have registered a FIR against two natives of Maharashtra for criminally entering the Goa Bagayatdar store at Nuvem and committing theft of personal care products worth Rs 75,000.
The police has registered the FIR following a complaint lodged by Sakshi Naik, stating that on 13/05/2026 and 01/08/2026 at Goa Bagayatdar Sahakari Kharedi Vikri Saunstha Maryadit, at Nuvem, accused persons namely Hitesh Gerela and Akash Sundrani both r/o Maharashtra, criminally entered in the store and committed theft of various personal care products, all worth Rs 75,000/- approximately. A case under section 329 (4), 305, 332 (C) of BNS stands registered against the accused.
