Major bureaucratic reshuffle in Civil Service postings

In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Government of Goa has transferred and posted several Senior Scale, Junior Scale and Mamlatdar cadre officers of the Goa Civil Service, with immediate effect.  

Among the Senior Scale Officers, Rajesh Ajgaonkar, who was awaiting posting, has been appointed Commissioner of Labour and Employment, a post that was vacant after Levinson Martins was appointed chairman of the Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB).  

Siddhi Halarnkar, earlier Director of Panchayat, has been transferred and posted as Director of Civil Aviation, while Mahadev Arundekar, the present Director of Civil Aviation, has been moved as Director of Panchayat.  

Bala Korgaonkar will continue as Deputy Director (Administration), Goa Medical College, while also holding additional charge as Deputy Director (Administration), Goa Dental College.  

In the Junior Scale cadre, Bhiku Gawas, who was awaiting posting, has been appointed Deputy Collector & SDM, Tiswadi, while Pandurang Talgaonkar, Deputy Director (Administration) in the Office of the DGP and holding additional charge of Sports & Youth Affairs, will now serve as Deputy Registrar, Goa Engineering College.  

Shanti Makwana Harding, Deputy Director (Administration), DFDA, has been transferred as Member Secretary, Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir, and Dasharath Gawas, Deputy Director (Administration), IPHB, has been given additional charge of Member Secretary, Ravindra Bhavan, Vasco.  

Meanwhile, changes have also been made in the Mamlatdar/Joint Mamlatdar cadre. Ruchika Swapnil Birje, Jt. Mamlatdar-I, Ponda, has been posted as Jt. Mamlatdar-V, Bardez, while Meghana Prashant Naik, Jt. Mamlatdar-V, Bardez, has been moved to Jt. Mamlatdar-I, Ponda.  

Kaushik Balkrishna Dessai, Mamlatdar, Tiswadi, has been posted as Mamlatdar, Ponda, replacing Dattaprasad S. Toraskar, who takes charge as Mamlatdar, Tiswadi. Shailendra J. Dessai, Jt. 

Mamlatdar-II, Bicholim, has been elevated as Mamlatdar, Bicholim, while Shailesh N. Kothawale, Jt. Mamlatdar-III, Bicholim, will now hold additional charge as Jt. Mamlatdar-II, Bicholim.
