In a major re-shuffle, around 46 police personnel from the different police stations, the traffic cell, Economic Offences Cell and the ATS squad were issued transfer orders on Thursday.
The new police inspectors at key police stations of the coastal belt are Suraj Gawas (Anjuna), Melson Colaco (Colva) and Sandesh Chodankar (Pernem).
Harishchandra Madkaikar (Verna), Sachin Narvekar (Margao), Therrons D’Costa (Cuncolim), Ninad Deulkar (Porvorim), Krishna Sinari (Old Goa), Mohan Gawde (Ponda), Sachin Panakar (Sanguem), Tukaram Chawan (Canacona), Gurudas Kadam (Maina Curtorim), Shivram Vaigankar (Valpoi), Ravindra Dessai (Curchorem), Uday Parab (Agassaim), Ramnath Nayak (Fatorda), Tushar Lotlikar (Mapusa), Milind Bhuimber (Saligao) are new incharges of respective stations.
Jivba Dalvi, Rahool Parab (SIT), Vishwesh Karpe (SIT), Narayan Chimulkar, Filomina Costa have been posted in Crime Branch replacing Rajesh Kumar, Rajan Nigale and Sidhant Shirodkar. Brutano Paxito has been posted at ATS Panaji.
Police inspectors who have been made incharge of traffic cell are Vijay Rane Sardessai (Bicholim), Arun Sangodkar (Curchorem), Suraj Samant (Margao), Sudesh Narvekar (Vasco), Shaikh Salim (Calangute) and Shailesh Narvekar of Dabolim airport traffic cell.
Sagar Ecoskar is the new PI at Dabolim airport while PIs Deepak Pednekar and Suraj Halarnkar have been moved to of ACB Vigilance.
Pravin Kumar Vast has been given charge of Economic Offences cell. Agassaim PI Uday Gawade has been transferred to Special Branch Panaji. The coastal security police stations will be headed by Navlesh Dessai (Talpona), Rajesh Kumar (Siolim) and Sidhant Shirodkar (Harbour Coastal Security).
Konkan railway police station will be headed by Sherif Jaques while Roy Pereira will be the new Police Inspector of SPCR Panaji.
