Major reshuffle in TCP, 11 town planners transferred

PANAJI

Town and Country Planning Minister Vishwajit Rane on Wednesday effected a major shake-up of officials in the department moving as many as 11 town planners and deputy town planners.

S M Bayakod who is retiring on April 30, 2022 on superannuation has been posted as the Chief Town Planner (Landuse) at Headquarters, Panaji. Other transfers are as follows.  

Town Planner R M Borkar has been moved as Senior Town Planner to the South Goa District Office in Margao and Town Planner Vertika Dagur has been posted as Senior Town Planner in the North Goa District Office at Mapusa with additional charge of the same position at the TCP headquarters in Panaji.

Town Planner Vinod Kumar Chandra has been posted as Member Secretary of the South Goa Planning and Development Authority (SGPDA) and deputy Town Planner Sandip Surlakar has been shifted to the South Goa District Office, Margao.

Deputy Town Planner K Ashok Kumar is moved to the Tiswadi taluka office, Panaji, Deputy Town Planner Prakash Bandodkar to the Pernem taluka office, Deputy Town Planner Zaidev Haldankar to the North Goa District Office in Mapusa and Deputy Town Planner Shiv Prasad Murari to the Bicholim Taluka Office.

Another Deputy Town Planner Sampurna Bhagat has been transferred to the Goa Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) and he will also hold charge of RERA. Deputy Town Planner Yugandraj Redkar has been posted to the Quepem Taluka office and he will hold additional charge of the of the Cananona Taluka office.
