A 38-year-old man ended his life in his house at Karashir-Moll in Agonda.
According to Canacona police, Molu Velip was brought dead to the Canacona CHC casualty by a 108 ambulance.
Family informed police that Velip was drinking alcohol continuously for some days and on Thursday at around 4.30 pm ended his life in the kitchen of his house.
Further police conducted the panchnama and sent the body for an autopsy to the SGDH Margao.
A case has been registered and Canacona PSI Rajshekhar Reddy conducted investigations.
Police later handed over the body to family members and the final rites were performed on Friday evening.
