Locals voice concern over incident

A 72-year-old man from Sawant Wada in Mandrem was injured after he was attacked by a bison on Saturday afternoon.
The incident took place at about 1 pm as Babal Sawant was returning home when he was attacked by a bison.
He was initially taken to the District Hospital in Mapusa for treatment, from where he was referred to the GMC Hospital at Bambolim.
Locals have voiced concern over the incident and have appealed to the government to take immediate action to control the wild bison, which have been straying into villages.
