Mandala-Makaravilakkuat Vasco
VASCO: Ayyappa Seva Samithi, Vasco, will celebrate the Mandala-Makaravilakku at Sree Ayyappa Temple, Mangor, Vasco.
This is the main pilgrimage time to the Sabarimala temple on the hilltop at Kerala and will start from November 17 and the season will continue till January 14, 2016, the Makaravilakku day.
The special poojas will start on Nov 17, with Ghee Abishekam at 5.45 am followed by Ashtadrvya Ganapathi Homam and special poojas. The temple will open at 4.45 am.
Ayyappa devotees will accept Mudramala and start their Vrida prior to the Sabarimala pilgrimage. Daily aarathi will be performed at 6.45 pm, followed by Karppoorazhi and bhajan till 9 pm. Swami Bhiksha also will be served.
Mandala-Makaravilakku Poojas will be from November 17 to January 14, 2016, booking for poojas for 2016-17 will start on November 17 at 5 am. Advance booking for the pilgrimage on Dec 13, will also start on Nov 17.
