Mandur sarpanch moots VP ghar after demolition of staff quarters

Even as MLA Viresh Borkar demanded the demolition of the dilapidated staff quarters located within the Mandur RHTC property, Mandur Sarpanch Prashant Naik has put forth a proposal that the area could be used for building a panchayat ghar for the village.

"The current panchayat ghar is congested and if the health department permits to build a Panchayat Ghar here, it would benefit the locals as it is centrally located," Naik stated while adding that a proposal would be sent by the panchayat to the local MLA, Health Minister to grant permission for building a panchayat ghar at the spot, after the demolition of the dilapidated building.

"We can have a panchayat hall in the VP ghar which will be beneficial to the villagers," he added.
