Neither JICA officials nor the PWD have moved in to fill up the surface of the manhole with tar though the manhole has been posing danger to motorists and pedestrians alike.
Meanwhile, Mahesh Nayak of Jai Damodar Association has said while the authorities observe road safety week, accidents and deaths have been only increasing by the day.
"All the roads in Goa are having speed governors in the form of potholes and the accident occurs in order to avoid the potholes," Mahesh said.
