Mapusa Police book 17 for house trespass

MAPUSA

Acting on cross complaints lodged by two families, Mapusa Police booked 17 persons for house trespass and causing breach of peace at Marna, Siolim.

In one complaint, Pundalik Harmalkar claimed that five accused abused him and his family members with filthy words, criminally trespassed in his house and damaged property of around Rs 50,000.

In a counter-complaint, Mandakini Devidas Harmalkar said 12 accused persons had abused her and her family, assaulted her family members with slaps, kicks and fist blows and damaged home articles and further touched inappropriately a woman member of the family.

Mapusa Police have registered an offence against the 17 accused from both sides under the relevant sections of the IPC. 

Mapusa Police is investigating further.
