Mason killed in gallery collapse at Calangute

One mason died, while another was seriously injured, after a gallery they were working from collapsed and partially buried them at Gaura-vaddo in Calangute on Wednesday.  
According to Calangute Police, the deceased Ashraful Mulla (30) and the injured, Mandal Manan (32), both from West Bengal, were carrying out masonry work at a residential bungalow at Gaura-vaddo, Calangute.  
Both were standing on the gallery while carrying out plastering work on the first floor of the bungalow, when the gallery gave way and partially buried them at around noon.  
They were shifted to the North Goa District Hospital, where Ashraful Mulla was declared dead on arrival, while the other injured was undergoing treatment. PSI Dhiraj Devidas is investigating
