Membership drive by GFP from Nov 1

Goa Forward Party supremo Vijai Sardesai on Friday announced that the party will undertake a statewide membership drive from November 1 till January 16, 2018. The drive will culminate in a massive public rally on January 16, the 50th anniversary of Opinion Poll Day.
Speaking at GF head office in Panaji, Sardessai stated, "We are entering constituencies where we don't have presence right now."
Meanwhile, the party welcomed into its fold Vishant Gaonkar, sarpanch of Panchwadi-Shiroda, two other panch members of the seven-member panchayat and several villagers.
Sardesai assured the new entrants that GF will make their voice heard in the state cabinet for the industrial hub planned in their village.
Vishant Gaonkar, a former Congressman said the grand old did not value people.
