MAPUSA:
A cross located at Monteiro Wada in Anjuna was desecrated by miscreants, sparking off anger among residents in the area.
The incident came to light on Saturday morning when residents passing by were shocked to find the cross desecrated.
Upset over the desecration of the cross, a complaint with the signatures of over 30 residents in the area was filed with the Anjuna police.
The complaint demands a thorough investigation and action against the miscreants attempting to disrupt religious harmony in the village. Anjuna police received the complaint, but were yet to register a case till late evening.
