CURCHOREMrrAccording to reports, some villagers noticed the damaged structure on Monday morning and informed the police. No offence has been registered as no complaint was filed by the villagers. Sources said an upper portion of the Ghumati was found vandalised by some miscreants. rCurchorem Police Inspector Shivram Vaingankar said no complaint has been received by the police from any local or a temple committee in this regard. “Police visited the site and found a slight crack on the upper portion of the Ghumati at Hodar-Curchorem,” said PI Vaingankar.rIt may be recalled that some persons desecrated three crosses at Chandor, Gudi and Paroda on Saturday night. rOf the three crosses, the Alma Khuris at Chandor had been desecrated in the past as well and it was recently restored.

Barely a day after three crosses were desecrated at three different places in South Goa, miscreants vandalised a Ghumati, a religious structure, at Hodar-Curchorem.
