Revolutionary Goans Party MLA Viresh Borkar has remained firm on continuing his sit-in protest as he said that the TCP has yet to take a decision on the retaining wall built by a starred hotel on the Bambolim beachfront.
He claimed that his other demand for the demolition of the retaining wall on the Bambolim beachfront still remains.
“Until and unless the TCP acts on the retaining wall as well, my sit-in protest will continue,” he added, and got support from RGP President Manoj Parab and RGP members as well.
“We are firm on our decision that we will not budge until we get orders on both projects — the hotel project and the retaining wall. So far, we have succeeded in getting a result in the hotel project and we are still waiting for a result on the retaining wall,” Parab stated, and added that they will continue the sit-in protest till a positive result on the retaining wall as well.
