Goa Forward Chief Vijai Sardesai has demanded the immediate resignation of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.
Addressing the media, Sardesai said the government has made a mockery of the electoral process which forms the basis of democracy. “Goemkars cannot be fooled anymore. The court judgement has upheld their fundamentals rights,” he said.
“Today’s judgement is a defeat for the BJP and also for the extra constitutional authority who tried to bulldoze the constitution.”
He said as part of the chicanery, the DMA, who was an IAS officer, was shunted out to bring in a local officer so to manipulate reservations.
