Health Minister Vishwajit Rane on Friday said the State government has been able to build a modern township in Valpoi due to funds provided by the Centre and the support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Addressing the Garib Kalyan Sammelan organised by the BJP Block in Valpoi, Rane highlighted several initiatives and schemes started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi which have scaled great benefit for the citizens.
“PM Modi has always championed empowerment through Atmanirbhar Bharat. Be it Jan Kalyan, Jan Dhan Yojana, Griha Aadhar, Laadli Laxmi or Ease of Doing Business, citizens are getting multiple avenues to script their success stories.”
“Like Smriti Irani said, it is not just a celebration of eight years of Modi in office, but a celebration where citizens have benefited in every sector and every field. He has been an inspiration for all of us to take his vision of transparency and good governance to the doorstep of the people. He is the tallest leader we have known.”
“The people of Goa should trust the government and should not believe misleading statements of the Opposition,” said Rane.
Others present on the occasion included BJP State President Sadanand Shet Tanavade, VMC Chairperson Sehzin Sheikh, BJP Block President Ramnath Dangi, Usgao ZP Umakant Gawde, Nagargao ZP Rajshree Kale, Nagargao Sarpanch Prashant Marathe, Savarde Sarpanch Ashok Chari, Khotoda Sarpanch Santosh Gaonkar, Guleli Sarpanch Nitesh Gavade, councillors and panchas.
Speaking further, Rane said the people of Sattari taluka have consistently stood firmly behind the BJP and schemes implemented by the BJP government have been implemented with a focus on public welfare.
He assured that efforts would be made to create employment for people by implementing various projects in different parts of Sattari.
Stating that outreach programmes are vital for staying connected with people, Rane said the BJP has ensured that benefits provided by the government reach the grass roots.
“During this term, the BJP will build an ecosystem that will provide jobs for our youth. We have also been able to establish a way of life in the rural areas. They have certain expectations of us in terms of facilities comparable to those found in cities.”
“Today, thanks to funds provided by the Centre and the support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we are able to build a modern township in Valpoi,” Rane added.
BJP State President Sadanand Shet Tanavade said the BJP government has taken many historic decisions.
“We are seeing good results in society. From Jammu and Kashmir, many complex and unjust laws have been changed and people have been brought into the fold of democracy. Today, people are satisfied in these areas.
VMC Chairperson Sehzin Sheikh also spoke.
