Monitoring system will solve water woes: CM

While speaking on PWD budget allocations, CM Pramod Sawant said that real-time monitoring of the water supply system will solve the water issues in the State.

As there are many issues regarding water bills, one day of every week will be earmarked to solve bill issues.

Presently, a budgetary allocation of Rs 2,099.80 crore is marked for the PWD. The government has proposed five Water Treatments Plants to provide additional 83 MLD water. CM assured that JICA projects worth Rs 1,404.57 crore to be completed by June 2022.

Sawant promises Logistics Policy

PANAJIChief Minister Pramod Sawant through the budget promised that the long-awaited Logistics Policy will be framed by the government.This policy is expected to boost the transport system in the State.Meanwhile, the government has kept the target to finish National Highways projects of nearly Rs 12,000 crore.The government will do a re-carpeting of the existing approach road to Mopa Airport.
