One Laxmi Hanagi, a resident of Mormugao, expired at GMC while undergoing treatment.
According to Mormugao Police, Hanagi was admitted at GMC on July 28 after it brought to their notice that she accidently fell down and sustained head injuries.
The police stated that they received a wireless message for their counterparts at GMC that Hanagi has succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment.
The police further added that it was it was brought to their notice that Hanagi died within 7 years of her marriage and that the case falls under the SDM and Mormugao Deputy Collector.
They also stated that in this regard, the case is registered u/s 176 of Cr. P.C and is being investigated further.
