Speaking on the Navy NOC issue, GPCC Vice President Sankalp Amonkar hit out at the present BJP Government insisting that it should not fool the people by playing the Supreme Court card.
"The MPDA is led by a BJP chairman and has 4 BJP MLAs which include two ministers and despite this they are unable to handle the MPDA functioning. We cannot blame the Navy as it is following the regulations laid by the Defence ministry. When the government at the centre is BJP
and the state is ruled by a BJP government, why should the MPDA approach the SC which could be more time", he said.
The MPDA can take up the issue with the state government whic can subsequently take it up with the Centre and get the issue rectified. The people are not fools and we will not fall prey to such lollypop tactics," said Amonkar.
